In the panoramic restaurant, you will enjoy not only homemade cuisine from local ingredients but also stunning views of the rock formation that gave the hotel its name – Petrovy Kameny. The hotel offers a choice of 72 comfortably furnished rooms.

Hotel Petrovy Kameny is located in the Praděd Nature Reserve, which is part of the Jeseníky Protected Landscape Area.
The hotel is situated at an altitude of 1,335 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest-altitude hotels in the Czech Republic. Studies and measurements have confirmed that the air beneath Praděd is the cleanest in the country. The combination of altitude and pure air guarantees perfect regeneration and makes it an ideal place for training.

When is the reception open?
The reception is open every day from 07:00 to 22:00. You can contact us at

When and how do I check-in and check-out? Can I check-in online?
Is early check-in and late check-out available?
Guests check in from 14:00 at the hotel reception. After confirming your reservation, you will receive an email from us with instructions and a registration form. Check-out takes place until 10:00. Earlier check-in and later check-out is always possible for a fee of 200,- CZK/hour.
How do I get to the hotel?
In the navigation we recommend to enter Mala Morávka – Hvězda parking lot, from where you can reach the hotel on foot, by bus or by car. When arriving by car, you need to reserve a parking space. There is a shuttle service between Hvězda and Ovčárna. There is a shuttle from Hvězda up to Ovčárna every hour on the hour, and down from Ovčárna every half hour. Buses also leave from the Hvězda car park every hour on the hour, ending their route at Ovčárna from where the hotel is 1km away.
Is it possible to park at the hotel?
Yes, during the summer months parking is possible by prior arrangement with the reception for a fee of 450 CZK/day.
The number of parking spaces is limited – we recommend securing your spot in advance.
In winter, it is not possible to park directly at the hotel. Parking is available at the upper car park Ovčárna–Točna (approx. 1 km from the hotel). If the capacity there is full, you can use the central car park Hvězda with shuttle service to Ovčárna. Luggage is transported from the upper car park to the hotel at designated times, while passenger transport is only provided in exceptional cases and must be arranged in advance.
Is it possible to stay with a pet?
Yes, for CZK 750 per night. To ensure maximum comfort for all our guests, please let us know in advance if you are traveling with a pet.
Is breakfast included in the stay?
All stays include breakfast. It is also possible to purchase a half-board stay, where buffet dinners are available.
When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 07:30-09:30.
Is there a spa or gym in the hotel?
The hotel offers a spa with a hot tub and three saunas (steam and two Finnish), a cooling pool and a relaxation area with a terrace. The spa has a limited capacity, so please book at reception. The hotel also has a fully equipped gym, the use of which is free of charge during your stay.
Is there a restaurant in the hotel?
The hotel restaurant is open daily until 22:00. The kitchen cooks until 20:00.
Can I pay by card at the hotel and restaurant?
Yes, you can pay by card or cash.
